Food was great, room was good, shared bathroom though.

Came to have dinner on a wenesday night, ordered take away, but when it arrived we weren't given utensils so we asked the bartender Vivienne for some take away utensils and she rolled her eyes and said sye would check before informing us that there were none, we thought not much of it and took some metal utensils and told someone else we would return them on our way back. On our way to the car Viviene walked past and yelled out you better bring those back and gave us a nasty look. We felt pretty upset but decided to dine in, the food was quite expensive but that made sense seeing as it's a small town that makes sense, The food was okay, pretty average pub feed. But the place looks nice and has pool tables and other events always going on. Best for a night out drinking . And the other barstaff were really nice .
Two nights here. Top dollar charged for what can only be described as low quality budget accommodation. Shared bathrooms would be ok if regularly serviced but dirty towels left on floor and not cleaned all weekend. Cat excrement all over balcony outside bedroom door and rotten boards meant balcony was a hazard. A dog greeted us on the first night but growled in the hallway making a visit to the bathroom impossible. The only positive was the friendly staff. Overall a very disappointing visit.
